New Products Apr 23, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Ningxia Xingri Electronics Co. Ltd. (China) introduced the CA515 wet electrolyte tantalum capacitors, which operate from -55 to +175 degrees C and are suitable for use in high-temperature applications such as drilling. The company is also offering a version that functions between -55 to +155 degrees C.

The components feature polar axial leads, high durability, and conform to the Q/NSL007-199193 standard and Chinese Electronic Industry Standard SJ/T10030-91. The dc leakage current is rated at 0.5µA at 20 degrees C, 0.4µA at 85 degrees C, 12.5µA at 155 degrees C and 15µA at 175 degrees C.

The devices are offered at a capacitance range of 1µF to 1.5mF with ±10 or ±20 tolerance, at rated voltages of 6.3V, 10V, 16V, 25V, 40V, 63V, 100V and 125V. They are shipped in dimensions of 5mm x 14mm to 10mm x 30mm.
