Xiamen Powerlong Ind. Co. Ltd. (China) released its PL8448135 lithium-ion (Li-Ion) polymer batteries, suitable for portable DVD players, which offer a nominal capacity of 5 Ah and a rated voltage of 3.7 V. The batteries are available in dimensions of 8.7 mm x 48 mm x 135 mm.
