Xiamen Wanming Ceramic Co. Ltd. (China) announced its new line of ceramic capacitors, which operate up to 15kVdc and can withstand up to twice their rated voltage. The capacitors are available in capacitance values ranging from 1pF to 0.1µF with ±5 percent, ±10 percent or ±20 percent and are available with voltage ratings of 1kVdc, 2kVdc, 3kVdc, 4kVdc, 5kVdc, 6kVdc, 8kVdc, 10kVdc, 12kVdc or 15kVdc.
The dissipation factor is <0.025 or 0.05, while the insulation resistance is at least 10 gigaohms. The operating temperature range is 10°C to 85°C or -25°C to +85°C. The devices are offered in dimensions from 6mm x 4mm to 22mm x 9mm.
