Wall Industries Launches Wall-Mounted Power with Interchangeable Plugs

Wall Industries Inc. has launched the WMUE15 series of wall-mounted power supplies. Designed for use in commercial, industrial and medical applications, the WMUE15 series accepts interchangeable plugs for worldwide use in the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, China, Australia and Japan.

The WMUE15 series delivers up to 15 watts of power, accepts a universal input and delivers dc outputs ranging from 3V dc to 24V dc. The series carries the consumer electronics mark and has Underwriters Laboratories, EN60950 and medical safety approval to EN60601-1.

This wall-mounted supply is housed in a compact package measuring 42.5mm x 32.50mm x 72.00mm and weighs 122 grams (4.4 oz), company officials said. Other features include low standby power of 0.3W max, output voltage tolerance of 5%, mean time between failure of 100,000 hours to MIL-217F and minimum operating efficiencies of 60%.

The WMUE15 series is priced at $5.25 in original equipment manufacturer quantities. The plugs are priced separately according to the type required.
