Wall Industries Announces New 20W DC-DC Converters

Wall Industries, Inc. broadens its product offering with the new JFC20 and JFCW20 series of 20W dc-dc converters. These converters have an industry standard pin-out, weigh only 0.53oz, and are housed in a low-profile 1.0 x 1.0 x 0.39" package. The JFC20 series operates over 2:1 input voltage ranges of 9-18, 18-36, or 36-75Vdc and the JFCW20 series operates over 4:1 input voltage ranges of 9-36 or 18-75Vdc.

These two series have 3.3, 5, 12, and 15Vdc single output models and ±12 and ±15Vdc dual output models available. Standard features for both series include high efficiency up to 91%, ultra low quiescent current, 1600Vdc I/O isolation, remote ON/OFF control, output voltage adjustability, and six-sided shielding.

The JFC20 & JFCW20 series converters are also protected against over voltage, over load, and short circuit conditions. The JFC20 and JFCW20 series of dc-dc power converters have no minimum load requirements and operate over an ambient temperature range of -40 to +101°C (with derating). These converters have a MTBF rating of 1,766,000 hours using Bellcore TR-NWT-000332 and 553,000 hours using MIL-HDBK-217F. The JFC20 and JFCW20 converters are useful for a variety of applications some of which include industry control systems, telecom/datacom, wireless networks, measurement equipment, and semiconductor equipment.

All models in these series are compliant to RoHS EU Directive 2002/95/EC and the CE Mark meets 2006/95/EC, 93/68/EEC, and 2004/108/EC. Safety approvals include UL60950-1, EN60950-1, and IEC60950-1.

The JFC20 Series is priced at $22.50 for single output models and $23.70 for dual output models in OEM quantities. The JFCW20 Series is priced at $23.60 for single output models and $24.85 for dual output models in OEM quantities.
