VPT Presents DVGF+ Series DC Converter

VPT Inc. (Blacksburg, VA) introduced its new DVGF+ Series dc/dc converters for military and aerospace markets. The new DVGF+ Series triple-output dc/dc converter provides a 3.3V main output to satisfy low-voltage requirements on newer aircraft (such as the F-35 Predator unmanned aerial vehicle), weapons, and other military and aerospace system platforms.

The DVGF+ converters feature up to 12.5W output power; triple outputs of 3.3V, ±12V and 3.3V, and ±15V; low output noise; 15V to 50V per MIL-STD-704; a fault-tolerant, magnetic feedback circuit; under-voltage lockout circuitry, which eliminates slow startup problems; a low profile of 0.330in and a light weight of 24g; a high-input, transient-voltage tolerance of 80V for 1sec per MIL-STD-704A; a high power density >23W/in³; and MIL-PRF-38534 element evaluated components.

VPT will maintain the DVGF+ in stock, delivering it within days or weeks, to shorten the traditional months-long delivery cycles typical in the military electronics industry. The DVGF+ is available now at $408.70 per unit in quantities of 100.
