Vishay Intros NC Series Chip and Wire Capacitors

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. (Malvern, PA) announced the release of the NC Series of thin-film, single-value chip and wire capacitors. With sizes ranging from 0.020in x 0.020in to 0.060in x 0.060in and capacitance values from 0.5pF to 1,000pF, the new capacitors are designed for assembly in hybrid circuits using conventional wire-bonding techniques.

The NCA capacitors measure 0.020in x 0.020in and offer a capacitance range of 0.5pF to 51pF. The NCB capacitors measure 0.030in x 0.030in with a capacitance range of 33pF to 100pF. The NCC devices measure 0.040in x 0.040in with a range of 56pF to 220pF. The NCD devices measure 0.055in x 0.055in with capacitance values from 150pF to 510pF; and the NCE capacitors are 0.060in x 0.060in with a range of 360pF to 1,000pF. Tolerances down to ±2.5% are available for the series.

Samples and production quantities of the NC Series thin-film, single-value chip and wire capacitors are available now with a lead time of eight weeks for larger orders.
