V-Infinity Presents VDZ Series DC-DC Converters

V-Infinity LLC (Beaverton, OR) introduced its new VDZ Series of chassis-mount dc-dc converters, available in units ranging from 75 W to 1,000 W, which are suitable for a variety of industrial and military applications where rugged design is required. All units are vibration and shock tested, while operating at temperatures from -40 °C to +85 °C. The VDZ Series achieves a high power density without the use of a heatsink, saving space in applications.

Available in 70 separate models, the VDZ Series will accept inputs from 9 V to 400 V in 2:1 and 4:1 input ranges. Customers are able to choose from standard output voltages of 12 V, 24 V, 28 V and 48 V. The converters feature convenient screw terminal connections that aid in quick assembly time, though pc board-mount options are also available. V-Infinity is able to do custom modifications on any of the units.

Pricing for the VDZ Series converters (in OEM quantities) starts at $80 per unit. Availability is in four weeks of production.
