V-Infinity Introduces New Line of DC/DC Converters

V-Infinity LLC introduced a new line of industrial dc-dc converters designed to operate within high voltage systems. The VKD1000 series is perfectly suited for a number of applications where rugged design is required, including transportation, telecom, and base station applications, among many others. These chassis-mount units are enclosed in a shielded metal case measuring 9.76x7.17x2.28 inches with a built-in heat sink. Available input voltage ranges include 80-180, 200-400, and 400-800 V dc.

The VKD1000 series delivers output voltages of 12, 15, 24, 28, and 48 V dc at up to 1000 W of power. The standard operating temperature range is -25~85 C, but up to -55~85 C is also available. Features of the VKD1000 include under-voltage lockout, over current, over voltage, and over temperature protections. OEM pricing starts at $490 per unit.
