Unipower Adds Eighth- and Quarter-Brick Isolated DC-DC Converter Modules

New Products Sep 04, 2013 by Jeff Shepard

Unipower Corp. has announced the release of dc-dc converter modules in industry-standard quarter- and eighth-brick formats and pinouts. Designed for telecommunication and data communication distributed power applications, these dc-dc converter modules have efficiencies up to 95.5%. The modules’ thermal performance at high temperatures and operating temperature range of -40C to +85C make the products highly adaptable for multiple applications.

Operating from an input voltage range of 36Vdc to 75Vdc, the dc-dc converters are available in output voltages ranging from 1.2Vdc to 12.0Vdc. The one-eighth brick and quarter-brick packages are available in output currents up 30A, 60A, respectively.

“Unipower is proud to introduce our new quarter and one-eighth brick dc-dc converters to the market," said Mike Henderson, Unipower Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “These products represent the best in the industry. This is just one of the high caliber products that Unipower will offer in the future, as we continue to expand our offering of high-performance dc-dc converters.”
