Tracopower Introduces Series of High Isolation DC-DC Converters

TRACOPOWER introduced it's new THB-3 Series of High Isolation (4,000 Vacrms) dc-dc converters with supplementary/reinforced insulation that are qualified to UL60950-1 & UL60601-1 safety standards.

The THB-3 Series of converters offer 18 models with 3W of output power, input ranges of 9-16 / 18-36 / 36-75Vdc and 5/12/24/ ±12 / ±15Vdc Outputs. All models feature an extended operating temperature range of –40 to +85°C (ambient); an internal input filter to meet EN55022 (class A) and FCC (level A) standards; Full SMD design and exclusive use of ceramic capacitors to ensure high reliability (MTBF >1 million hours); 4000 Vacrms Isolation; supplementary/reinforced insulation; and qualified to meet international safety approvals including IEC/UL60950-1, IEC/UL60601-1, CB Report, CE Mark (LVD). The THB-3 series is well-suited for demanding applications in transportation systems, industrial controls, medical equipment, instrumentation and other systems where converters with high I/O-isolation are required.
