TracoPower Introduces New Miniature, Encapsulated ac-dc Power Modules

TRACOPOWER launched the T™ series – a new generation of ultra-compact AC/DC power modules offering 15 and 30w models with single- and dual-output voltage configurations from 5 to 24vdc. The fully encapsulated modules are available for PCB-mounting with solder pins or for chassis mounting with screw terminal block. In addition there is an adaptor available for easy snap-on mounting on DIN-rails.

The 15w models measure only 2.16 x 1.77 x 1.10" and the 30w models measures only 2.99 x 2.00 x 1.10". These supplies feature Universal ac Input (85-264 vac) with operating temperatures of -25°C to +50°C without power derating. Units are approved for Class II Safeties (no ground required) to IEC/UL60950-1-2 (Industrial) and IEC/UL60601-1-2 (Medical) with EMC that meets FCC part 15, level B, EN 55022, class B requirements, making these products ideal power solutions for a wide range of applications in commercial, medical and industrial equipment. The T™ series offer reliable performance with MTBF ratings of more than 250'000 hours and a 3 year warranty.

Pricing is $38.00 each for 15w models and $59.00 for 30w models in 100 piece quantities. Evaluation units are available from stock. Production quantities are typically available in six to eight weeks.
