TRACO Electronic AG (Zurich, Switzerland) launched its new THD15 Series, a new generation of isolated, high-performance dc-dc converters with 15 W output power. The modules are fully encapsulated with dimensions of 1.0 in x 1.0 in x 0.4 in (25.4 mm x 25.4 mm x 10.0 mm) and conform to the industry-standard pin assignments of the common 1 in x 2 in platform.
The THD15 Series offers input ranges of 18 Vdc to 36 Vdc or 36 Vdc to 75 Vdc with single outputs of 3.3 Vdc, 5.0 Vdc, 12 Vdc and 15 Vdc, and dual-output models with ±12 Vdc and ±15 Vdc. The converters feature 1,500 Vdc isolation, tight output regulation, remote on/off control functions, operational efficiencies up to 87%, and -25 °C to +71 °C operating temperature ranges.
The family of THD15 products have been qualified to meet UL/cUL60950 and EN60950 safety standards, and carry the CE Mark (LVD) and are compliant to the new RoHS lead-free directive from Europe. The products offer reliable performance with a three-year product warranty.
