TelCom Semi Intros the TC56

September 19, 1999 by Jeff Shepard

TelCom Semiconductor Inc. (Mountain View, CA) recently announced the TC56, which contains a low supply current (11uA typical at Vout = 3V), low dropout CMOS linear regulator, and a 10V maximum input voltage range. The TC56 features low noise and low current, and its CMOS construction eliminates wasted ground currents for greater system efficiency and longer operating time in battery-powered systems. It is available in factory-programmed output voltage settings between 2.1V and 5.0V in 100mV increments, with low current consumption, 10V supply tolerance and 5-pin SOT-23 packaging. </p.The TC56 is available at 1000 piece pricing with prices starting at $0.47.
