SynQor’s UPS-1500 Can Full Power to an Optional DC Output

December 15, 2014 by Jeff Shepard

The new DC2 option on SynQor's UPS-1500 product line adds the capability to provide 1250W of dc output power at 24-Vdc or 28-Vdc on the already option infused UPS-1500. Moreover, this option allows for there to be two different dc outputs when it is used in conjunction with the existing DC1 output. The unit also provides a 1250W ac output at 115- or 230-Vrms. The sum of the output powers of these three outputs is limited to 1250W. If more dc output power is required, there is an option for a droop-share capability on the DC2 output so that the DC2 outputs of multiple UPS-1500 units can be paralleled.

SynQor's Military-Grade Uninterruptible Power Supply units are designed for the extreme environmental and demanding electrical conditions of Military/Aerospace applications. SynQor's UPS incorporates field proven high efficiency designs and rugged packaging technologies. This UPS will accept a wide range of input voltage and frequency values while delivering a well-conditioned ac or dc output to the load. Its use of lithium polymer batteries permits the lowest profile and lowest weight solution in its power class.

It is designed and manufactured in SynQor's USA facilities to comply with a wide range of military standards. Options include a DC1 output, DC2 output, and/or Ethernet/SNMP communication port along with the ability to also draw power from a military standard 28-Vdc input (28-Vdc input is not available with the DC2 option).
