SynQor Debuts NiQor Line of DC/DC Converters
SynQor Inc. (Hudson, MA) unveiled its NiQor line of non-isolated, SIP, dc/dc converters, which can deliver up to 20A of total output current and employs synchronous rectification to achieve efficiencies of up to 92 percent (full load, 3.3V). Suitable for distributed power applications required by low-voltage core logic in DSPs and ASICs, the modules have an input range of 3V to 5.5V and produce an output of 3.3V, 2.5V, 1.8V, 1.5V, 1.2V and 0.9V. The converters measure 50.8mm x 14.7mm x 8.5mm and can be configured in either vertical or horizontal orientations.
The NiQor converters include a full complement of control and protection features such as on/off control, input under-voltage lockout, current limit, short circuit, output over-voltage protection and thermal shutdown. Optional features include a current share pin for high-current requirements, remote sense and a power-good signal.
The modules are priced from $15 to $19 in OEM quantities.
