Stackpole Electronics Intros PCB Series Resistors

Stackpole Electronics Inc. (SEI, Raleigh, NC) introduced its new PCB Series of ceramic-housed, commercial-grade, wirewound resistors with unique spade lead, printed circuitry, board-mountable terminations. The PCB Series resistors have power ratings between 3 W and 20 W at 70 °C, and are available from 0.1 Ω to 1.25 kΩ, with tolerances of 5 percent and 10 percent. Stackpole also offers the PCB Series with custom windings for special surge and pulse-handling requirements.

The flame-proof construction and labor-saving circuit board-mounting feature make the PCB Series suitable for industrial equipment, high-power power supplies, industrial power controls, and motor controllers. The PCB Series of resistors is offered in bulk packages ranging from 150-piece to 500-piece increments, and is RoHS-compliant with lead-free, 100-percent matte-tin terminations.

The PCB Series is priced at $0.20, in volume quantities. Lead times are from stock to six weeks.
