Small Low Resistance Current-Sense Resistors

The CSRF Series from Stackpole, a foil on ceramic carrier technology which offers very low resistance values and low TCR in small chip sizes, now offers a higher power rating version. Utilizing proprietary materials and manufacturing processes, the CSRF0402-HP has a power rating of 0.25W and the CSRF0603-HP has a power rating of 0.5W. Both high power devices have TCR ranging from 75 ppm to 200 ppm and offer resistance values down to 5 milliOhm.

Applications are expected to include: Power management for a wide variety of consumer electronics; Battery management for portable electronics; Voltage regulators; Robotics; Motor Controls; Flash memory and storage; and Small panel solar power conversion.
