Sipex Corp. (Milpitas, CA), a provider of high-performance, analog integrated circuits, introduced the SP26LV431 and SP26LV432. The SP26LV431 is a quad-channel RS422 line driver. Its companion device, the SP26LV431 is a quad-channel receiver. Both devices are EIA/TIA-422-B compliant and provide pin-out compatible with the industry-standard 26C31 and 26C32 footprint. The devices are suitable for point-to-point or multi-drop transmission lines with up to 10 receivers per segment over links up to 4,000 ft.

The SP26LV431 and SP26LV432 feature up to 60 Mbps data rate per channel, less than 1 ns driver output skew maximum, open-receiver failsafe protection, 3.0 V to 3.6 V operation, 200 mV receiver sensitivity over ±7.0 V common-mode range, and industry-standard package and pin-out footprints.

Prices start at $1.65 for 1,000-piece quantities. Samples are available now. Both devices are available in 16-pin, narrow SOIC and plastic DIP packages.
