Shindengen Electronic Intros G1F Series Diodes

Shindengen Electronic Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (Japan) introduced the new G1F Series of two-pin, surface-mount diodes, which measure 3.5mm x 1.6mm x 0.8mm and are suitable for use in batteries and on-board dc/dc converters of mobile devices such as cellular phones and PDAs.

The diodes produce an output current of 1A to 1.5A and feature a forward voltage of 0.36V or 0.46V. Reverse voltage is 30V, while the reverse current is 0.5mA or 1mA. The devices are screened for operation over the -55 to +125 degrees C temperature range. Models that operate to 150 degrees C are also available.
