Semiconductor Circuits Intros SC60B Series Half Bricks

Semiconductor Circuits Inc. (Windham, NH), a manufacturer of dc-dc converters, introduced its new SC60B Series of 60 W, open-frame, half-brick converters. The converters offer ultra-wide, input-voltage ranges of 9 Vdc to 36 Vdc and 18 Vdc to 76 Vdc; and voltage outputs of 15 Vdc, 18 Vdc, 24 Vdc, and ±15 Vdc).

The SC60B series are designed for through-hole mounting with an industry-standard footprint and package. The converters are suited for telecom mobile/optical switches, networking, IP routers, and systems requiring distributed power architecture. Features include a higher ambient operating temperature, reduced airflow requirements, typical efficiencies of 89 percent over the entire input-voltage range with regulation, and transient response characteristics.
