Sealake Storage Battery Co. Ltd. (Ningbo, China) announced its new UPS1224BM UPS battery, which offers a nominal voltage of 12V and a capacity of 24Ah for a 20h rate. Designed for high-rate discharge applications, the battery features a redesigned grid structure that is claimed to increase the energy/density ratio by 11 percent. The battery measures 167mm x 125mm x 175mm and weighs 9.2kg. It has an estimated lifespan of 8 to 10 years.
