Schaefer Intros New GP-I-0600L Series Sine Wave Inverters

Schaefer Inc. (Ashland, MA) introduced its new GP-I-0600L Series of 600 W, pure sine wave, ruggedized inverters. The GP-I-0600L Series is available in two standard inputs of 12 Vdc and 24 Vdc; optionally 48 V is available. Single outputs are available in 115 Vac and 230 Vac versions. Outputs are adjustable and fully regulated to 1.5% or better.

All variations in the GP-I-0600L Series have state-of-the-art remote sensing, integrated low battery cutoff, overload protection, over-temperature protection, reverse input polarity protection, short-circuit protection, efficient standby circuitry, built-in remote controller port, aluminum chassis for harsh environments, simple mounting scheme, high reliability and low initial cost. Efficiency runs about 88%. The operating temperature is 0 °C to +50 °C.

Packaged in a 120 mm x 285 mm x 350 mm module for low-profile, space-saving application requirements, the inverters are suitable for handling sensitive loads and for improving ac equipment performance. The devices are ultra-light, yet rugged enough for extreme mobile environments for land, marine or military applications. Other common applications include recreational, industrial and backup power applications. The GL-I-0600L series is widely used in cars, trucks and other mobile applications.
