Sangni Electronic Unveils PTC Motor Starter

Zhejiang Sangni Electronic Co. Ltd. (China) announced the company's PTC motor starter, which draws a maximum current of 4A, while consuming <3W, making it suitable for single-phase motors such as those found in refrigerators, water pumps and single-phase induction motors. When used as a switching component, the starter executes the through-break operation providing high torque and reduced current flow.

The starter has a resume time of within 50s, is rated at 230V and can withstand up to 640V of voltage. It has a switching temperature of 120 degrees C or 135 degrees C. Zero power resistance is placed at between 12 ohms and 100 ohms.
