Rohm Intros RQW250N03 Power MOSFETs

Rohm Co. Ltd. (Japan) introduced its new RQW250N03 power MOSFET that achieves an on resistance of 2.4 mohms at an ID of 20 A, a 50-percent reduction from the company's conventional models. Offered in a new package, the RQW250N03 has a package power dissipation as high as 3 W.

The company claims that a single RQW250N03 unit used in the central processing unit power supply circuit demonstrates higher efficiency in power supply conversion than the conventional circuits that use two MOSFET units. Suitable for use in applications requiring super-low on resistance, the product contributes to the reduction in the dissipation of the power supply.
