RFE International Expands RV3 Capacitor Series
RFE International Inc. (Lake Forest, CA) has expanded its surface-mount aluminum electrolytic capacitor product line, the RV3 Series, to include a dual-height surface-mount aluminum electrolytic capacitor. This new capacitor is a miniaturized vertical chip with a height of either 5.3mm or 7.7mm. RFE International believes that this new design allows a greater range of capacitance and voltage capability.
The RV3 Series has an operating temperature range of –40 degrees C through 85 degrees C. This series offers an alternative size to the RV2 Series. The RV3 Series is available from 4.7µF through 330µF. In addition, the RV3 series has a permissible ripple current of 20mA/rms to 139mA/rms at 120Hz and 85 degrees C.
The series is available with dc voltage ratings of 6.3V, 10V, 16V, 25V, 35V and 50V.
The RV3 product is available in tape and reel packaging. Samples and production quantities are available now.
