RCD Introduces Ultra- Precision Power Film Resistors to 0.025%, 2PPM

RCD Components Inc. announced the expansion of the MP Series of TO-style power film resistors. RCD’s MP series has been available in wattage ratings from 10 to 145W in various through-hole and surface mount styles to 1% and 50ppm as a standard. Now RCD is introducing precision TO126 and TO220 style power resistors with tolerances as tight as 0.025% and temperature coefficients to as tight as 2ppm. This is claimed to provide engineers with the ultimate space-saving power design for precision applications. Applications include precision and/or low distortion power supplies, LSI test, motor control, UPS, electronic load, high frequency amplifiers, medical power supplies and equipment, etc.

Pricing for 0.1% 5ppm parts start at under $10.00 each with deliveries initially at 8-9 weeks, with shorter lead-times available.
