PSS-40 Series open frame switching power supplies

Phihong USA (Fremont, CA) recently introduced the PSS-40 Series open frame switching power supplies. According to Phihong, this new series will deliver 40W with natural convection cooling or 50A with 20CFM cooling. Phihong offers 20 models ranging from single to triple outputs. The series is designed to feature 90-264Vac universal input for worldwide operation, and the integral line input filter reduces conducted noise below FCC class B and CISPR22 class B limits. The PSS-40 has also been designed to meet international regulatory standards. It is safety approved to UL1950, CSA C22.2 No. 234 and EN60950. It has passed ac surge immunity testing to IEC61000-4-5 level 3 as well as EMI immunity to EN 50082-1, including IEC 61000-4-2 level 3 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-3 level 2 (EMC) and IEC 61000-4-4 level 2 (fast transients). The PSS-40 bears the CE mark. In quantities of 1000, pricing for the single output version starts at $19.90 and $22.60 for the triple output versions.
