PREMO Releases High Energy Chokes Designed For Renewable Energy Sector Applications

PREMO has developed a new range of high energy inductors specially designed for renewable energy sector. They are suitable both as input and output chokes for solar, wind and fuel-cells inverter applications, as well as railway sector applications.

The company states that the POT CORE series are the best solution to avoid having electromagnetic noise through the choke due its completely shielded format. They are available in three different formats: 100, 120, and 180mm high; and 100 and 120mm in diameter. They are also available to assembly in one or two cells, allowing using one inductor in each line with just one component.

The main features include: current up to 44Arms; operating frequencies up to 25KHz.; available in one or two cell format (dual inductor); very good inductance stability in high temperatures; and an available wide range of output connection.
