PREMO Launches New Family Of Transformers For PoE

PREMO announced the launch of a new family of transformers specially design for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. Powered devices that are IEEE802.3af-compliant, the family includes three sizes (EP7,EP10 and EP13) for 3, 7 and 13W applications.

The topology is a flyback transformer with continuous mode working at 250 KHz and an input voltage of 36-72V. Operating temperature range is -40~+85°C, and it achieves an isolation of 1500Vrms between primary and bias winding to the secondary winding. All models are RoHs compliant.
