Powerwave Technologies Intros New MCPA

Powerwave Technologies Inc. (Santa Ana, CA) introduced its next-generation 1,800 MHz/1,900 MHz MCPA solution for global network operators. The G3L-1929-120 MCPA is the latest release in the Powerwave family of high-performance, low-cost, coverage and capacity solutions for network operators.

The G3L-1929-120 MCPA is the highest-performance Powerwave product to date for this market, and its multi-protocol capability provides network operators with a path from GSM to W-CDMA without requiring a change or upgrade to the amplifier. The MCPA's compact size and modular platform architecture enables multiple configurations to meet a variety of coverage and capacity growth applications for both indoor and outdoor environments.
