POWERVAR Introduces New Rackmount UPM

POWERVAR has introduced a fully power conditioned, sinewave, rackmount Uninterruptible Power Manager (UPM) to its product lineup. The rackmount UPM is available in four sizes – 600, 800, 1100, and 1440VA – in configurations for both 60 Hz. North American electrical systems and 50 Hz. International electrical systems.

The rackmount UPM is a standard 19" width and requires 3U of rack space. Batteries are user hot-swappable from the front eliminating the need to remove the unit from the rack for battery maintenance. Two versions of the rackmount UPM are available. A standard version is intended for use with laboratory, POS, security, and ordinary computing applications. A medical version listed to UL60601-1 and IEC60601.1 is intended for patient vicinity applications where strict adherence to leakage current limitation is required.

Like all UPM products, POWERVAR’s new rackmount models incorporate a low impedance isolation transformer, a surge diverter, and a noise filter.
