Power Sources Announces New 40W DC-DC Converters

Power Sources Unlimited announced the Tracopower TEN40WI Series of ultra-compact dc-dc converters, offering 40W of power in a 2" x 2" x 0.4" shielded metal case with an insulated baseplate.

The TEN40WI Series features a 4:1 input range of either 9-36Vdc or 18-75Vdc with single or dual outputs. Input to output isolation of 1500Vdc, under/over voltage lockout, short circuit protection and remote on/off are standard features. Operating temperature is -40 to +85°C, with full load achieved up to +65°C using the optional heatsink.

Units are RoHS compliant and are designed to UL/cUL 60950-1 standards. The design boasts a high efficiency of 86% typical (a high MTBF). Pricing starts at $73.20 each at 100 piece quantities.
