Power-One Presents TXS Series DC/DC Converters
Power-One Inc. (Camarillo, CA) announced three new 120A, three-quarter brick, open-frame, dc/dc converters, the TXS Series, which operate from a standard telecom/datacom 48Vdc nominal input (36Vdc to 75Vdc range) and are suitable for use in distributed power architectures.
The three single-output models provide voltages of 1.2Vdc, 1.5Vdc and 1.8Vdc. Additional features include monotonic start-up, basic insulation, ±10 percent output trim range, 30mVpp output ripple and noise, remote sense, and primary remote on/off. Protection features include input under-voltage lockout, overload protection, and over-temperature protection. Interface features include output-voltage trim and remote shutdown.
Pricing for the TXS 120A models is $230 in quantities of 100 units. Evaluation units are usually available from stock. Production quantities are typically available in six to eight weeks. Ten other TXS Series models are also available for applications requiring lower currents, from 75A to 100A.
