Power-One Introduces 300W Half-Brick DC-DC Converter

Power-One, Inc. introduced its 300W HBC48T25120 isolated dc-dc converter. The 9.6 to 13.2Vout half-brick is said to facilitate an 8.7 Million Hour MTBF, the capability to withstand a 100V transient for 100ms, and operation over a -40 to 85°C ambient temperature range. Other features include no minimum load operation, the capability to start-up into pre-biased loads, a 36-75Vdc input range, and an on-board LC filter. The HBC48T25120 utilizes an open-frame single-board design and offers an optional base plate.

Internal protections include input undervoltage, output overvoltage and overcurrent, and overtemperature. Interface capabilities include remote sense, industry-standard output-voltage trim equations, and positive or negative logic remote on/off options. Compliances include RoHS, UL94 V-0 flammability, UL60950, and IEC/EN60950.
