Potrans Electrical Intros 60W Switching Power Supply

Potrans Electrical Corp. (Irvine, CA), a global manufacturer in power conversion products, launched its new universal, 60W, desktop power supply that meets the 2005 world low-power consumption requirement. The new unit delivers an output of 60W with a low-power consumption of 0.5W at 264Vac/50Hz, 0A load, and 2W at 264Vac/50Hz, 60mA load. It is designed to meet the 2005 world low-power consumption requirement.

Measuring 4.41in x 2.03in x 1.16in, the power supply is made to be slim and stylish with IEC60320 C6 configuration. The small size and low power consumption make it a suitable solution for portable electronic equipment and smaller-form products such as notebooks, tablet PCs, LCD TVs and IA/display products. The unit is equipped with active protection to prevent damage to products or users when its load is under short-circuit, over-load, over-current and over-voltage conditions. The leakage current is less than 0.25mA at 240Vac/50Hz. It has a calculated mean time between failure greater than 100,000 hours. Available at 19V output voltage, the power supply meets FCC Part 15 Class B and CISPR 22 Class B industry standards.
