Panasonic introduced its new premium alkaline battery, Digital Power.™ The advanced AA Digital Power batteries has been shown in internal Panasonic testing to last longer and deliver ultimate performance when compared to current digital alkaline batteries.

"Panasonic continues to provide consumers with the power that they need for portable devices," said Brian Kimberlin, Director for Panasonic Battery Corp. of America. "Last year, over 75% of batteries purchased were alkaline, and we are committed to providing consumers with Panasonic's best performing alkaline battery."

The new Digital Power batteries showed an increase of 8% in the internal testing performance index, when matched against Panasonic’s current Digital Power battery. Enhancements were made to both the anode and electrolyte. The improved Digital Power battery was especially designed to provide reliable and dependable power to moderate and high draining devices, such as toys, MP3 players and CD players. These batteries are currently available nationally at a suggested retail price of $3.49 per 4-pack.
