NJR Releases NJM2627 Brushless DC Motor Control IC

New Products Jul 11, 2005 by Jeff Shepard

New Japan Radio Co. Ltd. (NJR, Japan) released its new NJM2627, a three-phase, brushless dc motor control pre-driver IC with an operating voltage between 4.5 V and 18 V. According to the company, the new chip can easily implement speed control by input of a pulse-width modulated signal to an ON/OFF terminal. The output pre-driver is optimized to work with external power MOSFETs for better power handling.

The NJM2627 is housed in DIP16, DMP16 and SSOP16 packages.
