NetPower Intros NAS/NAT2030x10 POL DC-DC Converters

NetPower Technologies Inc. (Plano, TX) introduced a new point-of-load (POL), non-isolated, dc-dc converter with an input-voltage range from 9 V to 36 V. The NAS2030x10 (3.0 V version) wide input range POL converter is suitable for applications requiring low-cost, non-isolated, dc conversion operating from higher voltages than most standard 3.3 V, 5 V, or 12 V intermediate bus architecture buses, such as in the industrial, netcomm, and test equipment markets.

The NAS2030x10 (3.0 V version) has a DOSA-compatible footprint in a low-profile, 1.3 in x 0.53 in x 0.25 in, surface-mount package. Its output voltage is programmable, up to a maximum 15 Vout, with output power up to 45 W. The wide input range POL can also be ordered in the standard SIP package (2 in x 0.27 in x 0.5 in) as the NAT2030x10 (3.0 V output version). The NAS2030x10 POL converter is over 90 percent efficient and offers remote sense, remote enable control, output trim, over-voltage protection, voltage tracking, and a base plate.

The NAS/NAT2xxx family is priced at $19 in 100-unit volumes. Samples and production units are available now.
