Murata Electronics Intros BLA2A Series Bead Array

Murata Electronics North America Inc. (Smyrna, GA), a global supplier of ceramic passive components, introduced its new lead-free, high-performance BLA2A Series surface-mount ferrite bead array, which measures just 2mm x 1mm and is capable of filtering four circuits in one packet, making it suitable for limited board space applications and for meeting FCC EMI emissions regulations.

With the new series, Murata helps design engineers meet the growing demand for smaller electronic products such as notebook computers, personal digital assistants and other compact digital devices. In addition to its unique size, the BLA2A Series considerably reduces EMI emissions. The BLA2A Series is available at $0.12 per sample. The lead time is six to eight weeks.
