MTM Power Debuts PMD/PCMD120W Series

MTM Power Messtechnik Mellenbach GmbH introduced its new dc/dc converters, the PMD/PCMD120W Series, which are available with an input voltage of 24Vdc (18Vdc to 36Vdc), 48Vdc (35Vdc to 75Vdc) or 80Vdc (50Vdc to 150Vdc) and a standard output voltage of 12Vdc or 24Vdc.

Technical features include low ripple and noise values, short-circuit protection, transient protection, an isolation voltage of 2.0kVac, as well as a wide temperature range of –25 to +75 degrees C (+85 degrees C on request). The design of the converter allows a surface temperature of up to 95 degrees C maximum. The converter is vacuum encapsulated in a black plastic case with an aluminium base plate. The PMD/PCMD120W Series is also available with an internal life fuse encapsulated, reverse polarity protection, an internal temperature fuse, a decouple diode for parallel/redundancy operation, a relay contact for power-good and a heatsink.
