Molex Intros New Power Dock Connector Line

Molex Inc. (Lisle, IL), a global electronic components company, introduced its new modular Power Dock™ connector system, which offers a broad range of options that include vertical-angle or right-angle board orientations, up to three separate power mating sequences, press-fit or solder through-hole termination, 6 or 24-circuit signal modules, and self-aligning capabilities. The Power Dock connectors are suitable for connecting power supplies used in high-end computer and telecom equipment.

The Power Dock connectors feature hot-pluggable power contacts (rated up to 35A each) with an option to include signal circuits. UL approval is pending. Pricing on the Power Dock connectors depend on quantity and configuration. Lead time is typically four to six weeks.
