Meter-Treater Intros New TST/TS Series Hybrid SPDs

Meter-Treater Inc. (Lake Park, FL) introduced its new TST/TS Series of hybrid surge protection devices (SPDs) designed as transient surge suppressors for sensitive electronic equipment. All models are configured for either parallel or series installation and include RFI/EMI filtering. The SPDs are line/load sensitive and interface with power cables via screw terminals (barrier strips). Wire sizes will vary with unit current ratings.

Each unit is self-contained in a rugged plastic enclosure and is equipped with a red status-indicator LED. Dry Contacts are a standard feature on the 30 A and 60 A models, and a telephony interface is an available option on the 30 A model. All models employ 20 mm T-MOVs as the prime suppression elements. Units are intended for system incorporation.

The TST/TS units have a 10-year limited warranty, and are available from stock.
