Maverick Power Intros the Maverick Power Strip

January 12, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

Maverick Power Systems (Santa Barbara, CA), a developer of power supply and networking solutions, introduced the Maverick Power Strip™, a product designed to simplify home power distribution for consumers and eliminate the need for wall-mount adapters. The Maverick Strip provides dc power for a variety of small electronic devices, including cellular phones, PC speakers, PDAs and hand-held computers, cable and DSL modems, routers and more.

The Power Strip has four dc output power jacks that can connect directly to electronic devices without adapters, and also has two surge-protected ac outlets. Instead of plugging an ac adapter into a wall outlet or consuming half of an ordinary power strip, consumers can connect electronic devices directly to the Maverick Strip with the cables that are included.

The Maverick Power Strip will be available for sale to consumers in April 2003. The suggested retail price is $39.95.
