Matsushita Intros FD Series DC/DC Converters

Matsushita Electronic Components Co. Ltd. (Japan) announced its new FD Series of full-brick, dc/dc voltage converters that deliver 600W at an efficiency of up to 91 percent and are suitable for use in radio communications equipment. The FD Series is available with input voltages of 19Vdc to 36Vdc (29A) or 36Vdc to 72Vdc (14A to 14.5A). The output voltage ranges from 12V to 28V with a ripple noise voltage between 200mV to 300mV.

The 122.6mm x 64.2mm x 13.9mm converters have a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1.5kVac (1 minute) and insulation resistance of 10 megohms. The devices also come with over-current, over-voltage, and overheating protection, as well as remote on/off and power-good signal features. The operating temperature range is from -20 to +100 degrees C.
