Martek Power Announces 2000WFR Series DC Converters

Martek Power (Los Angeles, CA), a manufacturer of standard and custom power supplies for telecommunications, industrial, medical and military applications, announced its new 2000WFR Series of high-density, fully isolated dc-dc converters that deliver up to 20 W in an industry-standard 1 in x 2 in x 0.4 in package. The 2000WFR Series are suited to data communications applications, mobile battery-driven equipment, telecommunications equipment, mixed analog/digital subsystems, and process/control systems.

The 2000WFR Series converters offer a 1 in x 2 in footprint up to 25 W/in³; 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc and 48 Vdc input versions; a 2-to-1 input range; single-output modules of 3.3 Vdc, 5 Vdc, 12 Vdc, 15 Vdc; dual-output modules of ±12 Vdc and ±15 Vdc; and efficiencies up to 89%.

The converters provide protection and user features, including continuous short-circuit protection, over-voltage protection, TTL/remote inhibit, six-sided metal shielding for reduced noise signature, and EMI compliance to EN55022 level A. The converters are available from stock to six weeks at competitive prices.
