Magic Power Offers MPD-810H-V DC-DC Converter

Magic Power Technology Inc. (Sunnyvale, CA) announced its newest member in the MPD-810 dc-dc converter family, the MPI-810H-V, which is the second-generation design to further reduce both system integration and configuration costs. The dc-dc converter is designed for both railroad and telecommunications applications, although it can be used for general purposes.

The 30 Vdc to 120 Vdc converter can generate 85 W under conventional cooling and 120 W with 18 CFM forced air. Added features include a power ON/OFF function, full protection against output overload and short-circuit, and automatic recovery upon overload condition. The mean time between failure value is greater than 135,000 hours. The MPD-810H-V measures 3.3 in x 6.0 in x 1.5 in, and provides ATX output options, utilizes a thermally efficient U-channel chassis design, and offers a compact design to enable easy installation inside a 1U chassis.
