Lineage Power Announces Wide Output Power Amplifier DC-DC Converter Modules

Lineage Power Corp. announced availability of its new family of Total Efficiency™ dc voltage wide output power amplifier dc-dc converter modules, designed to significantly lower costs for cellular base stations. The new 48 and 24V input, 350W JNW and JNC power amplifier modules, designed for use within 3G and 4G/LTE wireless base stations, underscore the carriers’ needs for reduced size and cost with improved energy efficiency as operators deploy more Mobile Internet infrastructure to keep pace with subscriber demand for greater wireless bandwidth.

Lineage’s family of power amplifier modules reduce the space required for wireless base station components, enabling greater efficiency within the power amplifier while exceeding IPC 9592 reliability standards for wireless communications equipment.

All models of the new half brick board mounted power modules feature Lineage Power’s Tunable Loop™ technology, allowing users to optimize dynamic response – reducing the quantity, type, and size of the capacitors required for any given amplifier application. The result is a smaller overall footprint at a lower cost with increased reliability. The new JNW and JNC series products are designed for deployment in harsh environmental conditions with operation up to 100°C (212°F) in sealed environmental conditions, enabling the power amplifier to be mounted closer to the cellular antenna at the top of a tower, resulting in lower utility and cooling costs.
