Jinglai Semiconductors Debuts YCR02 SCR

March 26, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Yangzhou Jinglai Semiconductors Co. Ltd. (China) introduced its YCR02 silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR), designed for power control, which incorporates a glass passivated chip and features a rectified current of 2A and a forward voltage of 1.7V.

The device is also rated with 800V of peak repetitive reverse-voltage and 20A of peak repetitive forward current, and non-repetitive surge currents are all 20A. The maximum reverse current is placed at 50µA.

Housed in a WOG package, the YCR02 has a maximum reverse recovery time of 30ns and operates at a temperature range of -45 to +125 degrees C.
