IXYS Intros DSS 2x160 Family of High-Current Schottky Diodes

IXYS Corp. (Santa Clara, CA) introduced the DSS 2x160 family of high current Schottky diodes housed in a non-isolated SOT-227B miniBLOC package. The DSS 2x160 family consists of two 160A Schottky diodes connected in a common cathode configuration and mounted on the copper base plate of the miniBLOC.

The available part types are the DSS 2x160-0035A and the DSS 2x160-0045A, rated at 35V and 45V, respectively, and with a forward voltage drop of 0.73V at 160A/125 degrees C, and the DSS 2x160-01A, a 100V part with a 0.80V forward voltage drop.
